Air now leaks from the pump bottom of the connection line. It seems to pump OK up to about 900 lbs, then starts hissing...and I can't pump fast enough to overcome the leak. I took off the steel connection line applied white teflon tape hoping it would fix it, but the air is actually escaping from the bottom of the brass coupler....which I can't get loose. Tried a 6 point socket on the brass fitting and it won't budge. I'm afraid I'm going to break it with the amount of force I was using.
There has been no abuse to the pump...just pumping air into the Discovery and Marauder.
The pump is not even 3 months old, really disappointed it malfunctioned so soon. I would have expected at least a year or two before the seals needed replacing. I'll call Crosman on Monday to see if they will fix or replace it, just really disappointed it malfunctioned so soon.
I've read these aren't the best pumps and figured I'd have to get a different one sooner or later, just not this soon.
Gents, any experience with these pumps you might be able to share? The screwdriver in the pic shows where it's leaking...and the brass coupler I can't budge.

Thanks...Semper Fi
