That has to be the best blind I've ever seen!  Dark clothes with a black gun would be awefully tough to see, even with "crow-vision".  Now a lawnchair, coffee maker, quiet radio, box of donuts, etc.......

What kind of garden tractor is that?  Looks like just the ticket for a large garden.

DougT,you're right, that cr**py blind works out well,I've a padded cushion in it,covered the top with green PVC cloth and I usually bring with me some warm tea,relaxing!8) Itryed to move a bit when crows were staring at me but no one spotted a twich, what it makes them crazy is that now with the quiet S400 they can't figure out what's going on to theyr buddies falling with apparent no reason(I wait to retrieve the bodyes when they're gone),it's funny when they get more and more angry not finding the threat,he,he,he...

PS:I've no idea about the tractor's brand if you want I can ask,I just know they have some Gravely tractors.

Hy there, today no hunting,I gave a break to the "Hooded Crew"and I went withdraw myLandCruiser from the mechanic and shifted the hobby to the next days.Lunch time and something ringing in my pocket,it was the landowner shoutingout the phone that an entire flock of crows had destroyed part of his crop,I didn't waited a second to promising him I'll take care of his veggies tomorrow morning,so finger crossed for the morning after, let the S400 rocks! If I won't too sleepy I'll try to bring my camera to shoot some vids(...I'm sure everybody prefer vids to pics...).

Part 1-Woke up late this morning but I've promised myself yesterday to take a short break in the blind,I ran to the fields but unfortunately it was a bit windy,so no long shots today. I got the chanche to nail this one at 30 yards while it was digging in the ruts,it didn't even twitched, just layed down and it didn't scared any other crow.

Part 2-I've been in the fieldagain this afternoon and been able to shoot the very first starling of my life!!! I was ambushed within a bamboo bush and got him at 50 yards (I'm quite sure it has been pure and simple luck :p )

Tomorrow morning I'll try to bait some crows with a bit of pasta that's left from dinner, finger crossed.

Emi,

That is a great looking gun and good shooting.

Those crows look cool, black and grey.  Ours are all black.
