But, I do have a .375 qb78 Deluxe!
Smoothbore, unless I can really play with the leadscrew timing on my lathe and as I now have a fly press (only arranged today) to squeeze my own flavour pellets. Before you ask, of course is has a "muzzle break" it sure needs it! well in the UK it's one advantage we do have over you guys in the USA.

Your'e safe Ed, the pics are inert. OK here ya go then

120" long including the muzzle end cap, which serves no aesthetic purpose whatsoever and is purely functional. Built to Portland Jons basic design and scaled up for this gun. His work just as well but look better.
Due to the UK law it shoots just under 12fpe but it did "get away" when on the PCP chassis and made mid 30s.
I put 2 pellets on the er, end cap for the pic. the small one is a Bisley Magnum in .22
The pellets are currently hand swaged and very time consuming hence the need for the fly press. This with the right punches and dies will give me reasonably consistent 28 grain hollow pellets.

What you cannot see is the bolt adapter. Slips over the .22 bolt and seals great using the .22 o ring and its own around the outside. No set screws required.

The home made barrel band is not done yet either. Not at all hard to do!

I know the pics are fuzzy, my camera just dont do the up close bit.

It is purely cos I can, and the parts cost £2!! + the QB of course. I am not doing any for sale, I like the exclusivity  
No need to trouble the FLO, it IS under 12 fpe but I may want that higher when I start to play with the home squished pellets.  so I may have to bother him then.

I had an email earlier asking for a price on this and how it came about. First, it aint for sale , second, I'm not doing any more of these! End of.

How it came about? well 2 things were happening around the same time.
The first was an oportunity not to be missed, 28" of .375 smoothbore for £2!! what could I say?
That was machined up and fitted into a 16mm od, steel shroud with some "packing" for a good fit.
I attached it onto my PCP QB workhorse and what a &!@@(% racket!, It had to have it's volume tamed, back to the lathe.....
Ok Thats sorted, now I started squishing and cooking lead to make pellets, There were a number of false starts on that route but with some help from my tame aerodynamics expert (Thanks Chrissy) and information from the Greenhill formula I settled on a pressed 26-28 grain, round nosed,  hollow pellet with a secret

At the same time I had built a QB Deluxe in .22 for demonstartion purposes, this was hawked around the U.K. at various sales to generate interest. Good metal, shiny wood and a sweet action all contributed to the promotion, I was even talking Chrissy into letting me keep it, 'till I dropped it!!
Well the action survived but the wood suffered, scratched and cracked , you cant see it in the pics but there is a crack to the left rear of the reciever. Well I cant sell it now
Now what do I do?
Then it came to me. I didnt really want to tie up my workhorse QB with this barrel, why not drop it onto the Deluxe CO2 action with the damaged stock??

So that was it. a CO2 powered .375 calibre QB78 deluxe. Have a look at the comments in the China gate regarding B3 blueing and you can guess what I was doing today.
