to make the airgun gods smile on me lately. The nutters and I have had an understanding, that if they stay out of my yard, I will leave them alone. For some reason ever since I got my new CFX.22, they seem to have forgotten this arrangement. There is 1 in perticular that I have been after for about a month, he's real easy to spot, got a broke tail and a .177cal piercing in his left ear, little too much holdover, hehe. The other day I was putting a few pellets though the CFX, when all of the sudden here comes this nutter runnin across my yard, get's right in front of my target and stops.I put the crosshairs on his noggin and there's that pierced ear, hehe, let it fly and he just rolled over. Afew minutes later here comes another, runs about half way up a pecan tree, stops and looks at me, well what you gonna do now, I let him know real quick. Every time I cock my S1K they scatter, not to be seen for a few days, but they still haven't figured out the different sound of the CFX. I have gotten 14 in the last week, so maybe I'll have some pecans left this year. Sorry though I didn't take any pics.
