Is anybody else's edit button missing?
« on: August 31, 2007, 02:05:07 PM »
I wanted to edit a post of mine and when I went back to it; the edit box was missing . Just wondered if I did something to cause this or did Gene do this before he signed off so we couldn't change anything until he got back. ? hehehe . kirby Edit: OK what gives, I can edit this post but I can't go back and change my pictures I made too small in another post? I've noticed the same behavior on this site before, never did figure out why.  I doubt it was anything you did....unless Gene is mad at both of us?  Hehe!!

Hey Kirby... I think I can go in and delete the pics and then you can add them again using the normal procedure if you like.

Acutally, as a moderator in that gate, I could edit the pics out for you too David.

I seem to be able to edit in the others. Can anybody else besides moderators of that forum edit in the "Airgun Gate" forum? kirby

I've had that problem too.  It sort of seems to be random.  Sometimes later I am able to edit and other times the button is missing.  I though that maybe the capability to edit went away after some period.

Must be Gene doing it to mess with our minds............but I don't have one...

Hey, it worked that time!!

BTW, I have noticed it on this one also.

On some some message boards, once someone posts a reply, the previous replies cannot edit theirs unless they started the thread. Each forum (each Gate here at GTA) on the message board can be set up differently so this may be why the Airgun Gate is inadvertently different than the other Gates.
