Ok,qb newbie here,Bob`s site recommends dielectric silicone grease for lubing rings 4 assembly,it`s not available here locally,so I need a substitute that`ll work with buna and viton.

Hey Barry... diaelectric grease is available at just about any auto parts store including Advance Auto, AutoZone and Napa to name a few. It is used on many electrical parts and on spark plug boots making them easier to remove in the future. It's made by many companies including PermaTex and Vita.

Like Bob says it usually is used for a bunch of different things. If you happen to need a set of spark plug wires for your vehicle the wire manufacturers usually throw in a little plastic squeeze pack of the stuff in the box. If not the clerk at the auto parts store will give ya some for a $1.50 or something silly like that.
