I too took the plunge....
« on: September 04, 2007, 03:45:47 PM »

I ordered one of Bob's triggers for my 1250 over the weekend and it arrived today|
now that's speedy :)
As soon asI get time to install it, I'll let you all know how it works with the gun.
From the instructions it looks like a 5 minute job.... in fact it'll most likely take longer
getting the action out and back into the stock.

Watch this space..... :D

That's the best PLUNGE you'll ever take Roald,

Bob's GRT-III is GREAT ! It's as good as the Rekord trigger in my R-9 !

Okay, it's in the gun ! :)

I think because of the power of the main spring in the 1250, there is not a very obvious difference
between the First stage and the start of the Second.
It is there though, you've just got to "listen" for it real hard.
This sort of makes it feel like a long very smooth trigger creep and then it fires.

I've got it set to where the first stage "creep" is pretty short before it breaks.
The big Improvements are :
1. that the whole pull is super smooth (even and light)
2. and that it's always breaking at the same spot now.
3. the break is very crisp making for smoother shooting (tighter groups :))

The way it's set now makes it very predictable so it's sweet. :)

I shot it till I ran out of .20 Kodiak's :D

And considerably better than the Rekord-style trigger in my B26-2, Big Bill! I know I need to put a few hundred more pellets through the B26 before she smooths out, but if CDT ever decided to make a drop-in for it, I'd buy one in a second.
