Made new seals for it after the original ones 'popped out' of it. I do seem to be the only person on the planet that likes the fit of the factory grip shape though.Metal has a nice deep black 'blue' finish that has held up well for 3 years of bug killing duties.
`
I usuallyput a drop or 2 of silicone oilon the seals about every tin of pellets or so and it most accurately shoots the 7.9grn Vogel 4.90mm match pelletsconsistently at 510f/s but is also acceptably accurate for bug dutywith crosman wadcuttersshooting atjustabit lower velocity.

Can you post some pics of the seals you made and which ones pop out? Id just like to do all my homework on this pistol before taking the plunge in spending money :)

As "J" said, the gun is of exceptional quality.  But also as he said, he must be the ONLY person on the planet that likes the stock grip.  I replaced my grip with one from Steve Corcoran pretty much as soon as I bought the gun.  I believe the stock grip is cut the way it is so that it can be "fitted" to the individual shooters hand, I don't think it is supposed to actually be shot that way...I think they leave it big and awkward so you have enough wood to shape it into anything you might like.  I shot mine and liked it alot, never any problems.  The trigger out of the box was nice and only got better with a little adjustment...it can be set to almost zero pull and little or no second stage...it is the sweetest trigger I have EVER pulled.  The only reason I sold mine was chronic tendonitis in my right elbow, I never had enough "good" days in my elbow to shoot it enough.

Here's mine with the custom grip:

Good luck!

These seals were made from soft faucet washers

Bound them on a bolt and spun them in a chuck whilst shaping them with a dremel cutting blade. Inexpensive though time consuming. {fitting took about 20 min foreach seal}

I have an origional 46 (not the M model) and fins it an infreadable bargin for the quality. I happen to like the grip myself and the trigger is nothing short of fantistic. Extremely accurate gun and easy to shoot. I never needed or wanted the extra power of the M model for paper punching @ 10 yds. I was and am extremely pleased with the IHZ46.

Its a great gun.  A bit heavy but handy enough.  I recut the stock to fit my hand better and buffed themetal  corners and edges to dehorn it.  The trigger is super compared to other air guns in the price range.  I set the trigger back on mine (5-way adjustmet).  Its not particularly fussy about ammo either.  I use crosman HP from wally world for plinking silhouettes out to 40 yards.  I recommend and good cleaning and oiling when you first get it.  Its dry when it comes and the grease they use in the mechanism seems to attact water.  Like the fella said above, keep some extra seals on hand.  It blows them out sometimes.  They arent damaged but can be damn hard to find.
