This guy maybe wished he was a snail or something else today.

My third kill by .22 CFX occured about an hour ago. Man, I wish I was as eloquent a writer as some of the others, but I'm not. So you all will have to just enjoy the pics :)

I was romping around dancing like a fool in the house. I look out the window and sure enough, someone who must've ran away from Shadow or Long Island's realm was in my realm. I loaded the CFX with a Crow Mag, opened the sliding door out the back of my house, rested my right shoulder on the door frame, scoped up the now ambient temperature nutter on my maple tree trunk and let the Crow fly. Gotta love a Crow smacking down a squirrel!!! He immediately fell to the ground and started his death dance. About 5 seconds of that and then nothing.

You all got me a bit nervous with the Super-Squirrel stories last week. I learned a valuable hunting lesson from you all, reload immediately. So I walk over to the rodent, kick it around a bit to make sure he was dead, with the CFX aimed in the process as I wanted to be being ready for the possible super villain epidemic mentioned above. He was dead.

As you can see from the pic below, i put a twig in the entry hole and the Crow was in there maybe 1/2cm from the lower rear of his driver side (U.S.)  jaw. The twig isn't pointing to where the Crow is sitting.

Great shot Howard, right in the fusebox. The CFX is a hunter for sure. Where there's one there's more. Great pic of your harvest too. Ed

Would you rather spend your time typing or shooting???   :)

Nice shooting!

I'll bet those dang squirrels wish you weren't quite so eloquent with a .22 CFX, right? LOL!!!

Sounds to me like you're doing fine.
