Anyone ever tried this,
« on: September 12, 2007, 01:33:57 PM »
I like to make things easy on myself, when shootin, so I thought I would try somethin. I took some very dense weather stripping and made myself a cheew well on my S1K stock. I put this on about a month after gettin the rifle and I love it. I put it on as a temperary thing, but it has held up great. After I put on the weather stripping, I put a black sock over it, to hold it in place and dress it up a little. It dosen't look too bad and it makes it very easy to line up the same every time. It is very easy to put on and remove, so give it a try, you might like it.

Ed, the only thing that I can find wrong with this is, like any sock you have to take it off and wash it every now and then, hehe.
