saw three of the new Gamo's. All I can say is that I am very fortunate that I started collecting Gamo's 8 months ago. The three air guns I saw had plastic shrouds on the barrels wich I really do not care for. The shape of the triger housing put me off. It is long and flat and not symetrical. Only one of the models had wood. The wood was all right but not as nice as my CFX Roya's, Hunter 440 and Hunter 1250.

I will have to buy one eventualy, but will wait till prices come down...

Ha Gene I own a hunter pro  I like the gun, it shots very well ,I ordered a new trigger from charlie and after small game closes or I find a .22 thats in my price range I"m planning to get a turbo tune. I'm not sure how I like the barrel!!!!!!!!   But it reall packs a wal-up when a crow-mag  tags a tree-rat in the eye ,neckor head. :p  :p

I liked the Hunter Pro also, the wood looks good. I just did not like the plastic shroud or the trigger guard. It will eventualy grow on me ..

The boxy trigger guard is different...
