What are you working on ???
« on: January 03, 2008, 05:11:06 PM »
Hi fellows and nice lady. It's been a bit busy for me in the last couple of months so I haven't been around much. Things are back to normal now so I have another project on the go.

I'm interested in what you are all working on so please post a little info on your current project.

My current idea is to turn a QB into a lever action repeater. So far it is going well and unless I run into some unforseen problem I should have some photos to post in a couple of weeks.

Guess ya cannot hold a good man down George..:) I am sure your project will turn out as superb and many of the other finished projects that I have seen on your site and here. I wish I had just a few more nice machines...:) And if I remember right, it took you years to get to where you are now with your home made machinery. I am jealous...:)

Thanks again for sharing with all of us.

I like trying new things. The QB is such a great gun that making a repeater seemed like a good thing to try. This one will shoot only round balls when finished. The lever stroke is only going to be about 1-1/2" so it should be fast.

After this project I want to try turning a QB into a pump action that shoots pellets. Making a magazine that feeds smoothly is going to be the tricky part.

Wow... the airgunning equivalent of an 870... that would be cool!
