Hey Bob... you ring a bell. Are you  out there in CA I believe it was???  The one that I was working with a year or two ago regarding some airgun issues  about a guide problem that you ran into and I sent a guide and also an issue with someones "trigger mod"???  If so... or even if your not one in the same....  welcome aboard and glad to see you.

By the way if that was you, I still have that part you sent me on my desk. It's still taped to the piece of paper with instructions on it that you sent it on. Threw out the envelope it came in though...lol...

Great memory Bob.  And I do believe it has been that long.  The present owner of the CFX that was giving me so much trouble brought it over for a chrono check and it's still running good...noisy still with that 'smack'...but smooth!
I do monitor these forums fairly regularly and enjoy seeing what the guys are doing with their air guns.  And I'm happy to see you've trained an apprentice...or would Gene be better described as an accomplice?

Gamo Warranty Claims - Western Canada
« Reply #18 on: January 31, 2008, 04:57:28 AM »
Well, I called Gravel Agencies 418.682.3000 for Gamo warranty service here in Canada and was told that they no longer handle Gamo products.

I was referred by them to Umarex.

Umarex said they do not handle Gamos, nor have they ever.

Lastly, I called the original reseller, Airgun Source 800.565.9527, and they said the official Gamo rep in Western Canada in now D&L Airgun in Langley 604.533.3556.

I have yet to call D&L to whine about my crappy Gamo barrel but I hope that THEY don't give me the run-around too! (I've bought from D&L before and have had nothing but good experiences with them: Friendly service, fast shipping, and decent prices)

I hope this post saves at least one fellow Gamo owner from the frustration I experienced.

Cheers.
