Haven't owned one but I shot a friend's who was new to air guns. I have to say I did not care for it, at all. That was many air guns ago, and I was comparing to my two springers of the time, the SS1000 and the QB36-2. I would not consider these to be pricey or special guns and I would rather have either than the Big Cat. Maybe with a CDT trigger they would be nice, but the BC comes with such an atrocious trigger that you question the whole thing.
The shroud looked cool but didn't bring much to the party. It was reasonably accurate, I guess, but twangy and harsh. If I am gonna endure that, I would strongly prefer my russki MP513 which hits things often, well, and hard.
I find something to like about almost every gun I try but I really did not care for the Cat. YMMV and that was my opinion.
