How easy it was to sight in my friends Condor
« on: April 06, 2008, 04:16:44 AM »
My friend and I both bought brand new Condors  (His was in stock, mine was ordered)  last night. He wanted to leave early because he had rode up on his bike and we were losing daylight, so he asked me if I would do the testing and sighting on his gun before I left. Now mind you, i've only scoped two guns before (I prefer open sights) but it was toooo easy. I mounted the gun in a rest, bore sighted it, shot one was barely on the paper and by number 5 i was on the X. I put seven more shots through a hole that my wedding ring fit over (say, .5-.7 inch) and called it good. His gun came with the 4x16 by 50 with clamp and riings. Mine will be open sights and a pump. Both in .22 cal. Oh almost forgot the indoor range was one foot less than a measured 20 yards, I was behind the 20 yard line but the muzzle was a foot past lol. I can't wait to get mine.
