Has any one seen a parts list and schematic yet for the Discovery or a tear down thread any were. Crosman told me it would be about a year before they put it up on their sight. They only up date a few times a year. Marvin

Marvin, go to http://www.crosman.com/site/manuals_crosman_rifles and select the 2260 available download . The only difference is in the valve and airtube ,maybe some springs but the tear down and all will be the same. the barrel/breech assembly and hammer, and rear plug can be removed without degassing . It's always a good idea for safety , to drain the airtube before taking any airgun apart, but airtube is pretty much self contained and will hold pressure without the breech/ barrel on. kirby
