Gamo Stutzen

Any one here have a Gamo Stutzen, or have had one?  It looks like an interesting rifle.  I'd like to hear your thoughts on it as a shooter.

Hi David.

I had a Stutzen. Sold her cause I could get some nice bux for her. Lovely rifle. And is perfect for hunting. Not very good for target work. Maybe if you detune her a bit she will work for target. I have a CF30 as wel and they both have the same engine. Stutzen has a shorter barrel though. I put my CFX's spring directly into my CF30 and it made it a very smooth shooter but droped velocity to about 740 fps. She is very accurate but need a bit of a tune to calm her down. One thing to realize. there are much more accurate and easier to shoot rifles than the stutzen. If you buy her you buy her to be the only person that has one and be the one to own a beauty.

Just give her a good tune and she will service you well. And yes. the wood is wat sold me on getting her. Also, I was well aware that with the deal I got I could sell her for a profit if I wanted to.
