CFX Muzzle break rail

Is the "rail " under the CFX muzzle break a useable rail for say a laser??  I was looking at the original break on a CFX I bought and saw the rail.  If it is a rail, then I will try to put it back on and use it.

I am going to give it a try if can locate a set screw etc. I assume it is only set screwed on since I have a "bag" of stuff. Thanks
