new triangle shaped pellets....

I have found several like this in different tins and brands of pellets. I assume it is from part of the manufactureing process but what part of the process causes such well formed triangle...

The lines on the sides are swage marks

My guess is one of the teeth on the swage machine had trash on it and pressed one spot harder intermittently . . .

I got ten tins of them from Tools now (cummins) when I ordered one tin for $1.99.
Although they were well priced I too cant find a barrel to put them in!
They fit in the hollow but stock of my 512m along with expanding foam.
The base of my gun vise.

northern tool has a forming vise you could put your barrel in and shape it to fit.....but i think it would be cheaper just to buy more pellets....ha!
The hardest part of getting old is trying to look good naked!
