...you'll find that they list velocity vs. distance for the older lead pellets (Match, Hunter, etc.). Since vertical drop per unit time is virtually unrelated to caliber or pellet weight it shouldn't be terribly difficult to get a rough idea of what you can expect.
I've found that it's not much of an issue between the two calibers out to 60 yards or so (I don't shoot further than that). The .22 drops more at closer ranges but since it generally retains velocity better the difference lessens at greater distances.
One thing about the .22 CFX, though - there's been a few reports of abnormally low velocity out of some of these guns. Don't know if it's really an issue, but it might be worth looking into.
