Had another Great......
« on: August 01, 2008, 12:15:37 PM »
Visit with Bob today. Man is it a thrill to live close by to one of the great ones!!! Hand delivered the Norica ( Beths) and my new .22 Diana for the TT.  What a swell guy, he let me hang out and watch him tune a BAM side-lever for someone in California. Boy are they in for a treat!!!! Them triggers ain't nothin' to play with?!?!? Like "pulling a plow" huh Bob?!?!?! LOL's After it was fully assembled, we popped a few off, Bob did some minor adjustments and I'll tell you what, just a pop and that lead was Haulin' the mail. Smooth as silk too. If my "Bow Droppin' Lady" turnes out this well,.......Wow!!! Lots of good chatting and joking. But when it came to the serious work (parts refining and deburring), I kept back an watched him work his craft. I even acted as the third hand a time or two. Like I said, them triggers are a Bi%^&!!! That lower spring in particular!!!! What a wonderful afternoon to be spent!  As for my delivery, I'm not sure which to be more excited about. B's Norica, or my .22. Can't wait to see the look on her face when we pick it up!!! Me, my long range woodland set up ( in .22) will be complete,...except for a decent scope,...but I'm lookin' around!!! Although I got a super cool Pal waiting to measure me up for a custom "lefty" stock!! Great seeing you again Bob!!, Thomas

I'm long overdue, as it has been a few months. Now that Sherry is feeling well enough to punch the clock again, I may be able to take care of some of thoseneglected projects out in the shop. A trip to visit a bud in G'ville co. sounds in order as well . . .
