Progress finally
« on: September 11, 2008, 11:39:57 AM »
UPS just delivered female foster and Benjamin CO2 adapter so now the rifle can be charged. I picked up the gun with full air charge and forgot to get the female foster QDxBSPP to fit the FX pump. Got about 30 or so informal shots and then had to wait.

One thing I did do was optically center scope and install with best ring orientation as possible. It shot 26 minutes low with .22 CP. This is the first scope setup I've done on an air gun and trying not to compare to firearms results. Will charge, start from the beginning and see if I missed something.

Thanks Dave
It\'s OK to explain why it won\'t work, but I like to give the guys making it work plenty of room:)

Sorry Guys,

The first obvious thing is I forgot to subtract center-center of scope/bore. If someone could double check me many thanks on you.

3" POI @ 17 yards = 3/17=.176x100yards= 17.6 MOA correct?

thanks dave

I'm confused FIX,

The 17.6 corrected MOA still seems like allot to me. Haven't done this in years so maybe my head is just full of cobwebs:) At 17 yards pellet drop wasn't accounted for buy it couldn't be much, I wouldn't think?

Now (scratch, scratch)what was I saying (scratch, scratch) :)
