If your not saving the hide try doing just the hind quarters of the nutters and peal him like a rabbit turning everything inside out. Cut the head off at the neck, pull his fore arms out of the shirt and break at the last joint and slice through the cartilage. Do the hind quarters the same way. Walla hairless nutter ready to be gutted and put on a spit. No more hours of picking fur off the little devil.

bassethound423 - 9/17/2008 6:02 PM There is actually a book out there, I have a copy in my library called "Brain Tanning". In the book it describes the method completely and no you don't have to be indian for it to work. The main thing to remember is every animal has enough brains to tan his own hide (including humans).

Well cancle my cremation im getting tanned !!

Now if I could only skin them without getting stray hairs on the meat. Nutter hairs stick to the meat like glue.
