Long drive for nothing

A friend that lives 120 miles from me has been asking me to come and help him with a ground squirrel problem. Took the Discovery with great expectations. There were a lot of squirrels but the property is so overgrown with weeds and vegetation that it is next to impossible to see them. I only managed to shoot five, The JBS Jumbos did a fine job. I left the camera at his house so no pics.

I have a lot better shooting much closer to home. Will try for pics pretty soon.

Well you got some of em Rod and I hope you had a good time hunting em.:) I've driven further for just a couple harvest but the time spent out in Ma Nature made it all worth while.:) Ed
