Diana 48 Cheaper Than The B 30 After Alll The Work Is Done ?
« on: November 18, 2006, 12:02:12 PM »
Just wondering if the people who have any knowledge of the Diana 48 and B 30 would agree that if you bought the B 30 and did all the work needed to get it up to par with the 48 you would have about the same amount of money in it as you would in a new 48 right out of the box ?

I don't know a thing about the Diana 48 or the B 30 except the B 30 is about half as much money. Some may say that the B 30 is equal to the 48 right out of the box.

What is your opinion of the Diana 48 compaired to the B 30 ?

Thanks Bill

You are correct the 48 is better for the money, I think it is as being sold for as low as 289.95 at Midsouth Shooters Supply.
Now all you need is one of those Vortek Vrod Kits to make it even better.

The b30 still comes out cheaper with a Charliedatuna tune, and is accurate as all get out. I had a 52 and my B30 is more accurate. Of course, I could have gotten a "good one", but from what I hear, they are all good so far. I think the cheek comb is higher on the B30 making it a bit nicer on the stock. I wouldn't trade mine for anything. I have an R1 in .20 that I would get rid of first.
