Laser Bore Sights
« on: January 17, 2009, 01:55:21 PM »
Can some of you more experienced guys educate me on laser bore sites?  I seems that I am in the constant state of doing things to my guns that require that they be sighted in again and was wondering if a bore sight could speed up the process.

I'm looking at this one >> http://tinyurl.com/8ey9kk and wondering if it is worth it or do I have to spend $$$ for one to be any good?

Chris,
I have never mounted a scope that I could not hit the paper at 25 yards. I was reading some of the bore sight reviews over at Cabela's and the 60 dollar ones sound questionable at best. If I were you I would not waste my money. If I were serious about ownning a bore sight I would probably start my search at Brownell's. A good MOA chart might assist you as well.

Happy shooting,
Neo
