Guys,

I have rheumatoid arthritis so as you could well imagine I have a hard to using some tools. Let alone loading pellets in the breach! I have added a Crosman steel breach and a Tasco 3-7 X20 scope to this gun since I got it about 3 weeks ago. I know it can be modified to shoot more accurately and increasing the fps. Whats your opinion on what I may be able to do with manual dexterity limitations. Any advice or help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Why did you buy a multi pump gun?

In your condition, I would have chosen a 2250XT
One AirSource cylinder is good for 250-300 shots with no
pumping involved.

I can hold the pump arm well enough to pump but wanted to not buy Co2 as I am on a limited pension income. If it gets to hard to manage then I will look at co2. I also liked the shortness of it as well.

Zook,

Can you hold a a screwdriver, hammer and nail? If so, the easiest way to get more power would be to get a flat top piston and valve from Mountain Air custom airguns. You need a hammer and punch to drive out the pivot pin to replace the parts.

You might talk with Roy at Mountain Air. He may be able to do the work for you. He can also re-crown the barrel for better accuracy. There are others who do this kind of thing too, just can't remember who right now.
