B.58 Sidelever ... ?
« on: February 20, 2009, 02:15:53 PM »
I just did a quick search and don't see any reference on here to this medium powered sidelever rifle, listed in the Compasseco line-up.   Do we have any owners or users of this little goodie ?   If so what are your impressions of it ?   Have any of the tuners or smiths worked on them ... and with what sort of results ?   I have long been partial to sidelever units , both Match and high-power sporters, but this unit seems to fill a niche in power output between the other two groups.   Comments ?

A while back MM got a case of them and they sold out quickly as I recall. Haven't heard any feed back yet. Is no news good news?

Try a search for Tech Force 58.  I believe Randy Mitchell did a write-up on the Compasseco blog.
Check it out.

Nice little cheap rifle made by Shanghia (Industry), metal finish isn't up to BAM or Xisico standards for smoothness but the stock is well done. It does have the Gamo/Theoben trigger so you will need to shell out for the insert to get a nice trigger. I did have one come back out of the five I sold with a bad trigger, a unit from a B-19 fit right in and it's up and shooting.
