Barrel (at the loading port) is a little snug. It likes to have the pellets well seated or it may jam.
Loved my P17 but it had problems well within warranty - sent it back and got another. Replacement didn't last long. I "upgraded" to the P3 and have no signs of the problems seen in the p17's. But I find myself using another single shot pistol 99% of the time and have an itch for a multi shot pistol so I'm giving this one up.
