RWS and BSA
« on: March 14, 2009, 02:23:38 PM »
If anyone lives close to South Haven Mississippi, the Sportsman Warehouse which is going out of business has a BSA and RWS rifles for a good price..
The RWS is a 34 with scope in .177 for 159.99 minus 5%, only one, that I Know of.
The BSA is at PCP, don't know what model, maybe the Lonestar for 399 minus 5%

I purchased the three last Lightning XL's they had and may later be selling one in .177...

AS said there may be just one of each..   Call them to see what they have... You can find then contact information on the web, Sportsmans Warehouse...

Frank,

I've checked that Sportsman's Warehouse out as well as the one in Germantown.  The BSA is a Sportsman HV.  They have 2 of them at the Germantown store and one at the Southaven store, all for $399.  They also have BSA pumps for $250 or so.  The stores are to remain open until May, so they might end up dropping the prices even more before then.  The BSA rifles are very, very nice to hold and to look at, but you'll need to buy a scope, pump, etc. before you can shoot them.

What they have done is sell everything but the guns and ammo to a liquidator who has begun to offer discounts, though not too steep yet.  30% is tops and only on a few things in the store.  The guns and ammo still belong to Sportsman's Warehouse, and they're not really discounting it very much.  I have no idea if they intend to do so later on.

Cheers,

Bobby

Here's a list of the stores being liquidated and/or sold to another company entirely.
