Give that school system a pat on the back for retaining Common Sense.  Try that in the school system where I live and you'll be doing five to ten.  That thar BB gun would be considered taking a firearm on to school property.

Accuallty when I was in high school a lot of the guys used to bring their shot guns and rifles in to work on them ( not air ) guns but fire arms. and credit was earned for the quality of work done also one of my buddies designed a 22 cal smooth bore pistol for shooting snakes when trout fishing and he not only got a good grade in mach. drawing but built it in shop class and got a good grade for that too. You don't hear of anything like that today nobody would think of using a gun for anything but target or hunting then. howie

Man i wish we had shop class. You have to go to vocational school if you want that now. After high scoll im going to take machining classes, and then some gunsmithing classes, and try and get a job wroking for a gun company.
