I have 2 of em..... extremely hard hitting, powerful rifles, matter of fact my 2 are the hardest hitting .177 rifles in my arsenal. Mine are also deadly accurate. However,,,, ya knows there's always a "however",,,,,, just be advised that out of the box they are a very "harsh" shooting rifle usually with a real bear of a trigger. Mine are still stock and I really don't mind their harsh shooting characteristics because they are so powerful and accurate... mine are outstanding small game .177 rifles
The wooden stocked version handles the vibration and "twang" much better than the lighter synthetic stocked version, but if you stuff the synthetic stock with memory foam you can "tone it down" a bit.
You can tune them, matter of fact there are a couple of sites online that deal specifically with tuning the 1000's.
They are not a clone of anything as far as I know,, just a basic, hard hitting .177 rifle.....
If you plan on mounting a scope on one make sure you pick a good 1 piece mount (like an "accushot), clean all surfaces very well with denatured alcohol and then use blue loc-tite on all screws and let the loc-tite cure at least 2 days before firing.....
Ok, that's it,,, I can't think of anything else to say about em......
