Minorities
« on: June 27, 2009, 02:09:46 PM »

We need to show more sympathy for these people.
* They travel miles in the heat..
* They risk their lives crossing a border.
* They don't get paid enough wages.
* They do jobs that others won't do or are afraid to do.
* They live in crowded conditions among a people who speak a different language.
* They rarely see their families, and they face adversity all day ~ every day.

I'm not talking about illegal Mexicans ~ I'm talking about our troops! Doesn't it seem strange that many Democrats and Republicans are willing to lavish all kinds of social benefits on illegals, but don't support our troops, and are even threatening to de-fund them?

God Bless America and our Troops.............

It's far more than strange Gene.

It's a CRIME !

Those "representatives" that refuse to support our troops, do not deserve to live in America !

I need to stop here !

I know Gene, some of what I hear "first hand" saddens me. When I see any of our Service Folks when Im out in public I go out of my way to shake thier hands & thank them. You can tell it makes thier day & they call me "Sir"!! :)  Its pretty neat because if I do this when others are close by it is amazing how many others will then follow siut!! 8)  I know for a fact this really makes thier day from talking to Kimmie Sue & Ryan. KS told me a little boy about 8 yrs old came up & hugged her & thanked her recently at the airport,, his father saluted her. KS said it brought tears to her eyes & she was beaming with pride the whole flight home. :) I hope all my GTA Family woud take a few moments to do the same. God Bless this Country & ALL or Troops!! Tim.
