RWS 350 .20 cal carbine (reduced)
« on: July 06, 2009, 10:45:40 AM »
RWS 350 w/.20 cal LW barrel chopped/choked by RFM w/muzzle brake. Other than a crow magnum/eliminator or custom kodiak/patriot I don't think you'll find a more powerful springer in .20 cal. It's just to much for paper punching and plinking in my small backyard. Will sell for $350 shipped (conus) or consider  trades as well, especially for a  P1 w/shoulder stock , R7, or R9. Mount (Beeman 5039) and scope (Hawke 3-9x40 AO) not included but negotiable.

It was converted to a .20 carbine (was originally a .22) before I got it so I really can't say.  As far as accuracy,  I'll get a good group going at 10m (that's  0.5" for me) then loose it (I'll end up with a 1+" group).  It's not the gun because I do the same thing with my .177 prosport which I know is a tack driver.   But then again, I'm not much of a shot.  As far as what I've heard, shortened barrels on springers don't impact accuracy like powder burners.  As a matter of fact some say accuracy may improve due to a shorter "lock" time.

On the L/W barrels the choke is about 2" from the end of muzzle. Where is the choke at on your barrel after chopping now?

The barrel was cut at the breech end so the original choke is still there.
