Flyingdragon Airguns, Mike Melick A+++

Mike has once again proven himself a gentleman and an EXTREMELY respected seller once again.

I purchased a B26 .22 from him with a full tune and Macarri kit installed.  The rifle is now hitting .5" groups at 20 yards.  If I were a better shot it might just one-hole those groups.  It's a little finicky with pellets, but loves Beeman FTS.  I had hoped it would like the nice and cheap RWS Superdomes.  It doesn't, but the Superdomes work well enough for plinking.

After that purchase, I sent him my new R7 for a tune and button job.  I was panicked after reading Paul Watt's R7 horror stories.  Mike did the work, although he said the buttoning was probably not really needed.  He did discover the stock spring was messed up and looked like it was cut short from a longer spring, and one end was going to cut a major pit in the piston.  The Macari spring sorted that.

This weekend my cousin and I were hitting a pop can at 60 yards with the R7!  We could grate cheese with that can.  We were using CPLHPs.

My most recent purchase was a .177 B40 with just a lube tune.
The rifle arrived with obvious shipping damage.  The safety was not engaging and the stock was cracked near the safety right under the compression rip in the packaging.  Mike sent a new stock and gave me some advice to fix the safety issue.  I tried to fix it, and did not succeed.  The rifle was a little rough to cock the trigger after I opened it up.  I spent a bit of time on the phone with him, and we sorted the cocking issue.

Well today, in the mail, I received a customized top-hat and a new ENTIRE trigger and breech plug assembly as well as a new forestock mount (which I had ruined by over-tightening one of the forestock screws!)

All of this at no additional cost to me.  I have a feeling all this cost Mike all of his profits and probably took a hit making things right.

As Mike explained, shipping is the biggest "buggaboo" with his business as damage can happen.

He went above and beyond rectifying the issues I had, and the rifle is happily awaiting a new scope.  (I bought he wrong scope for it, a Bushnell Banner non-AO scope, which is going on a deer rifle, and I'm putting a Leapers 3-9x32AO on it from my R7 which is getting the Leapers 3-9x32 Bug Buster scope.)

So once again, I can recommend MM with the highest praise.  The tune he did on the R7, the perfect B26 and the huge effort to make the B40 right after USPS dropped a refrigerator on it all attest his concern, patience and willingness to make sure his customer was happy.

i concur !! after many a conversation with members and mike himself, i purchased a tuned b26 as well.
as a long time shooter of powder burners, i can say without reservation that mikes work and customer service far outweigh that of many if not all "big" name dealers.
im looking forward to trying more of mikes products and can genuinely endorse his products..!!

I couldnt agree more. Mike was very patient with me since I am a newbie. Took time to answer all my questions and is still answering the ones I have had after the purchase. Unreal turnaround ordered a tuned rifle on Monday received it on Wednesday. I will definetly use him again in the future. He is a class act...
AF Condor .25 tuned up nicely...
