RifleJunkie alive and well.
« on: July 18, 2009, 02:48:05 AM »
A while back, a nice lady, Charlotte, aka RifleJunkie was frequenting the target shooting gate here, then one day, she just R-U-N-N-O-F-T.  Well, since I have now put one foot into the world of powder burners and am hanging out on a couple of the firearms forums, RimFireCentral.com mostly, I chanced to see a post from Charlotte.  She did indeed abandon air gunning to pursue her small bore shooting, and has now just earned her "Expert" card, which apparently requires shooting 98.5% of a 700 score forty consecutive times in match competition.  I don't know if that is 3-position, or prone position (which was apparently her specialty), or what distance the small bore .22 matches are shot, but I take it she is doing well.  She is now competing for her Masters, which requires a 99.5% of 700 score, seventy consecutive times.  The lady can shoot.

Mayhap one day she will drop back in to say hello to the gang here at the GTA.  Congratulations on your progress, RifleJunkie!

Gene -- it would probably be a bad thing if your former girl friends could shoot like Charlotte.

That's why he sleeps with so many guns now?

Hello, Charlotte, and Gene, too.

No, it's because nobody else will sleep with him.
