My B20 .20 transformation
« on: August 01, 2009, 04:02:53 AM »

When I got my little b20 tha stock was kinda ugly. So I have always wanted a blond and thought this stock was the perfect candidate... so I sanded ans shaped her down. added a desert ironwood pistol grip cap and a texas concho. I am going to stain her with a natural minwax stain and then put a couple coats of satin poly over that... she looks so much better already....

finished pics when I get her back together...

She is my little Texas shooter now...

Nice work on the pistol grip.  Should be a real beauty when you finish.

I like the effects.    Like the way that the  pistol grip has been  brought out  and capped.   Been thinking of doing something close to this  myself when the weather cools down.  I've done this type of stock work  before it has just been a spell.

She's looking great bro and that grip cap, cool. Some inlay on the stock with that material would look good too, gone country.:) Ed
