This is a recommendation for an honest and honorable gentleman.
As a newbie to the GTA Community, I was of course a bit dubious about where to order a new B26-2 airgun. After reading several references, and wanting the gun tuned, I turned to Mike (in Iowa).
Having seen a pic of one with a Tyrolean stock, and Mike having one on hand, I went ahead and ordered it. The stock rear upward curve interfered with my normal cheek position, and I could not get a repeatable scope picture, plus it was just plain uncomfortable to me.
Some things are not to be. I loved the stock, but it just would not work for me.
So thinking that I would have to perhaps trade the gun back in to Mike for one with the low comb, (or even have to sell it and buy another??) I sent him an e-mail explaining the situation.
The next thing that happened blew me away! His reply was that a new tuned B26-2 with low comb stock had been shipped, and to decide which one I wanted, then return the other!!!!
Well I received the beautiful new B26-2 this last Monday and it is perfect. I shipped the Tyro back to him today. Service like this is not found often today. Mike has my highest recommendation.
