Im Closing In On Ya Tommy!! :)

Im getting closer to 100 yrd. MOA groups with "Ole Geno" Buddy!!:D ("Ole Geno" is my 22 cal Marauder) I have managed several groups just over 1" @100 yrds recently!!I have been dealing with a small breeze on most sessions but I cant really use that as an exuse. I can honestly say the bottom end facing me of beer cans dont stand a chance ( I meant soda cans)LOL!! I have had several groups of 3 that can be easily covered by a dime like in the pic,,, it,s just them 2 "flyers" that seems to get me every time!!I have taken out 3 Pests" with feathers @ 100 yrds. with a whitness though!!8) I need to try higher than 6 power,, I think that may help me some. It,s just that every time I crank the magnification up,,, my poi goes crazy??:0 The side wheel AO is working GREAT for me now,,, THANKS to my Buddy David Kirby for all the great advice!!8) I know I cant run with Ya on the 17/22 "Pow Pow,s" of yours Tommy,,,,(I seen Ya shoot!!),,,,,,, I may be able to give you & the others a run for your money with tha Dark Siders though!!:p See Ya next Sat Buddy,,,, Timbo.

Hey Tim:

Got my Caldwell "Rock" front rest yesterday.  Picked up a used one at a fair price.  I will be driving to your place directly from a week of vacation with the family at the beach (Hilton Head).  Problem is that any shooting gear I carry will have to make the trip with me to the beach, and space will be limited.  So . . .  I will probably only be able to bring a couple of long guns.  Maybe I will PM Bhawana and see if he will put a few in his truck for me when he comes up.

Sunday we were hitting right at 1/2 inch five shot groups at 100 yds with Tommy's .17 HMR. It's a CZ 452 American, both of us, and the first time I fired it, about the 3rd group I was on that aimpoint. I was using a front rest and a full grip. Fantastic Pentax (?) scope, Gene. Tommy edged me out, I think. His first and last groups about the same.

Not any where near afraid, Timmy. Easy to work that Czech bolt. That .17 bullet is flying fast and flat, with great ballistics. Packs a wallop, too. It's really loud, but I sure was impressed with the accuracy.

Timmy, looks like you're getting that Marauder dialed in...Them varments don't stand a chance with you around...nice shooting!!!
