R9 is on the block
« on: September 22, 2009, 01:17:27 PM »
I'm the newbie that attended Timmy's SEBS mtg last w/e.  SEBS.........whazzat you say?  Shoot Eat & BS.  He posted pix on yellow page of this lam, .177 that I bought new.  I'd say less than 300 pellets thru it.  Useta only have 200 or so but Timmy kept scarfing it up and played quick kill with it as I can't put my hands on the sights cause I put them in a "safe place".

Now, to be totally up front, he was running it thru the chrono and said it was shooting low 800's which meant that the seal was probably buggered at the factory.  News to me as I say once again, this is all new to me.  He explained what the low vel meant.  So, it is twangy according to the solons in attendance and the vel is down so a tune plus a seal(s) would be the order of the day to make this ca 2002/2003 R9 "right".

If it didn't need the extra influx of ca$h, I think Timmy would be sleeping with it close by.  But, that's just a newbie's opinion.

My price is $500 shipped.  I'd say the stock is 99% and same with metal.  Now, please, Timmy, Ray and anyone else who noticed anything about this that I haven't mentioned - please jump in.  Last thing I want to do is misrepresent.  We all reap what we sow, whether we believe it or not.

Ca$h is king but am looking for a POSSIBLE trade for a 10m gun or maybe something for sillywets.  I love competing, that mo' difficult the betta.  Had my bunz whooped multitudinous times but always learned something every time.

So, whatcha got?  E is easier for me to check so:  taj45ATcharterDOTnet

ROE:  First I'll take it scores and as I said EMAIL is best.  Thanks for reading these ramblings, I see the eyes glazing over so I'll quit.............;-))
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery.  Hit the target!  All else is twaddle.

BACK OFF Jeff,,,, I gots me eyes on this shooter!!:p ( Just Funnin Wiff Ya!!)8) I can tell Ya she is a real looker but,,,, she is in need of a full tune.:o I really wanted to get her from Tom but I feel his price was a lil steep. A few Folks shot her at my last Fun Shoot & all agreed she was pretty "Twangey". FPS was down a litte also & I personally feel the seal may have some issues causing that. IIRC parts would run about $80 Not counting custom guide ect. Plus the cost of a Pro tune.:0 Had it been shooting smooth in the high 800,s or low 900,s,, I would have it on my pool table right now!!8) You still around Tom?? I still like that shooter Buddy.:) Kimmie & Ryan like it too,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Tim.
