Mine is at Mike's getting fixed after I destroyed it trying to do my first home tune :)  I guess there are good ones and bad ones and mine needed a lot of work; and it REALLY needed a lot of work after I dropped the trigger in my garage losing multiple parts, busted the seal trying to put it back together, and tried to do a home grown re-crown.  :D  Hopefully Mike has worked some magic on it.

I've learned my lesson about tuning and I'm leaving it to the professionals.  It is in keeping with the motto of both my brother and myself; "Let professionals do what professionals do-that is why they are PROFESSIONALS".  I violated my own advice and now Ive paid the price. :D  Maybe in a year or so I'll try it again, but for now I'm sending them off!

I shall look into picking one of these up. I love the feel of the stock on these shooters! Good find, I was wondering where the Rugers went a week or so ago =]

Happy shooting,

After my experience with the refurbed Air Hawk, I wouldn't do it again. I'd go ahead and pay a little more for the real thing.

If you'd rather have a new one than sportsmansguide.com sells the Airhawk brand new for $99 and the Blackhawk brand new for $89 bucks.  That's where I picked up my Blackhawk and it's one heck of a shooter :)    Here are the two links...................

http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/ruger-air-hawk-177-caliber-air-rifle-combo.aspx?a=436725

http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/ruger-blackhawk-177-cal-air-rifle-with-4x32-mm-scope.aspx?a=524681

Also, if you're a "club member" you can use one of the readily available $10 off coupons and get them even cheaper  , that's what I did.  If you're not a club member you  can join during the checkout process and they will automatically give you money off on your purchase.    Being a club member has saved me a ton of money over the years,,,, I love sportsmansguide...

Anyway, just thought I'd mention it in case someone would rather go for a new one.

You don't really even have to join to get the coupons (but for the standing discount you need to).  After my first purchase (I didn't become a member), they are sending me 10% and 5% coupons in the regular mail and via email.  If you inbox is lonely and patiently waiting for incoming email, just sign up for their notification of sales/specials.  Your inbox will never be lonely again!
