My new disco got here today!!!!!!!!!

It arrived safe and sound.
It looks and feels great.
I hate to say, the stock isn't walnut though.
I'm guessing its beech.
One thing I wasn't expecting is when you shoot it, its LOUD!!!!!!!
Really loud. Like almost 22 rimfire loud.
I want to thank everybody in the Hunting Forum for finally turning me to the "dark side"
I've read all the disco threads I could in the past 3 months and its really opened my eyes about PCP's.
This thing is only going to make my airgun disease worse than it already is.
Its been raining here forever it seems.
Have to wait until a clear day to sight it in and get it ready for some squirrel hunting this coming saturday.
Will a LDC help make it quieter?

Congrats ray!! The Disco is one sweet package. Since I got mine in July I have managed to clean up about 4 square miles of gopher infested pasture land, 2 mag pies, two crows, countless sparrows and a lot of tin cans. I've just ordered a beautiful custom stock from Airguns of Arizona, should be here in a couple of weeks. I'm no expert, but I think my stock is walnut, it's got a nice grain and has a dark finish., What color is yours?

Its got grain to it, but it has at least 3 knots in different spots and the finish is not very dark.
More like a light to medium brown. And the grain is open, not tight.
I can see a little inside the action mounting hole between the gauge and the trigger guard and it seems to be light like beech.
I could be wrong though.
I've heard sycamore, but don't really know what it would look like.
What kind of stock are you getting?

I'm getting a custom stock manufactured by woods and water outdoors. It's the mid grade model but the guys at the store (Airguns of Arizona) tell me that it looks better than their high grade stocks. It's a little pricy at $260.00, but I figure if I'm gonna play, why not play big!! If you want, check it out at the Airguns of Arizona website under custom stocks.

Love the disco.Mine came with a beautiful but cracked stock.Crosman is sending me another stock.Hope it is as nice as this one is.Shooting in the back yard is pretty loud.Will probley be getting a letter from the homeowners association or more likley the sheriff will be dropping by.As of now I am back to shooting the nitro piston in the back yard until I can get the disco quited down.Good luck with yours.
