Apologies
« on: October 27, 2009, 12:20:01 PM »

So I went through pnumonia, then a two week period of healing, then a bbq comp that I couldn't have done without help, and then they sent me to an OSHA training course to renew my CSHO Certification where I have to drive 75 miles one way each day to get to. Point being, I haven't been active on the 'family' get together place in almost a month.

Soooooo.

This weekend I plan to shoot something. The top of the list is the section of CFR's in the 1910 range. Now let's put this in perspective. The 1910 section of the CFR's are about 3" thick, and these are just some of the Reg's that we have to deal with. So I'm figuring they would make an excellant back stop for flinging pellets into. Kind of an impromptwo penetration test of my arsenal of airguns. I can't shoot animals around here without getting into trouble so I thought I would devistate some Government regulations and relieve some pent up tension.

Breaux axed me just yesterday. "Breaux, have you ever taken the OSHA 30 hour course???" My reply was "No, but I took the 380 hours of OSHA training to be able to teach it" First time in a long time he was silent.

So I'm thinking I can tape my targets onto the outside of some free(company paid for) CFR manuals and NOT worry too much about where I actually hit on the target, but how far the pellet traveled into the reg's. I'm thinking this would be a good way to teach regulations. See where the pellets end up and cover that section. Hopefully it will be near a section that is half way teachable without the whole class falling into a coma. After all, I kinda need to get across a few points to keep people getting to go home each day, and not in an ambulance, so it might make for a good day of training.

One thing is for sure. I GET TO SHOOT SOMETHING!!!!
