Welcome aboard Bill. Relax, throw your feet up on the desk and stay spell. I think that your gonna find this to be the best place any place and A GREAT PLACE TO BE. I think that you will find some enjoyment in a Co2 and a step up in your springer.

Six of one , half a dozen of the other...it's a Walther Force 1000. Sportsmans Guide special, aside from the R's stamped on it I can not find a problem or a blemish on it anywhere so it's $70 well spent.  :emoticon:

WELCOME!
Thanks for the pics.  Nice. I'm thinking seriously about adding one of those 78's to my collection.
Springers are a challenge. But CO2 and pumpers are a nice change of pace.
Let's know how the work for ya.

It may have been branded as a Walther Force 1000 but it looks to be a Industry Brand SAG AR 1000 Magnum also branded as a Tech Force TF89! Well technically the TF 89 is a SAG AR 1000FC Magnum, the difference is candy.

If it is the AR 1000 Mag. $70.00 is a steel on the other hand if it turns out to be one of the IB/Beeman GS/GR/GH?? :) 1000's something or other with the horrible trigger, well you will find out soon enough. After you shoot the QB a little you'll forget about the Force 1000. In any case welcome and enjoy yourself while you're here.

Those 78s are a joy to shoot. Kind of like the old Mossberg .22 rimfires. Reliable, affordable, and accurate to a fault. Plus the 78 trigger is SO easy to stone and adjust.

Dinsdale, I picked up a Walther Force 1000 Refurb back in May of this year! I got it from Sportsman's Guide as well. The gun is a beast! It still shoots Beeman Crow Mags supersonic! I thought that would calm down after a few shots but it hasn't. I've put at least 500 pellets through it and the Crow Mags are what it likes best. Originally I thought if I went to shooting CM"s then the gun wouldn't crack from the supersonic, but it still does. Surprisingly the scope on it has held up just fine. I'm still hitting cans out to 40 yards easily with it. I was gonna give the gun to my Dad, but decided to keep it because of its power. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do. Keep us posted!
