Gamo 1250 Hunter Royal .22's
« on: March 13, 2007, 11:44:11 PM »
I have looked around different forums lately and on a couple auction sites but have not spotted a used Gamo 1250 Hunter Royal .22 as of late.. I guess this will be a classic or a very hard to find air gun in the future.. I wonder how many of these Gamo produced for the US?. I don't think they made them for more than a couple years but I don't really know..

The first ones I know were produced in England and the later ones said Spain on the breach. Don't know if that makes a difference or not. Also I wonder if Gamo will sell all the parts to us who own the the Gamo 1250 .22?

Does anyone have information on the Gamo 1250 Hunter Royal .22's? Just curiouse...:)

Hey Gene,

What if we took your 1250 and mine,,,,, put them in a dark closet for a couple of hours,,,  you think they might make some baby 1250/s??   Just send me your 1250 and I'll give it a try  :)

It has a wood stock on. The wood is very nice with clean checkering. Lots of good grain and a very attractive rifle.. Also the Gamo makes the CFC in a Royal stock as well. I have two of them..:) A .177 and a .22 which I bought from the UK and had shipped. It is a classic cause Gamo never made a CFX Royal .22 for US Import.. I only know of two other people that have the CFX Royal .22...

But the Gamo Hunter 1250 Royal .22 will never be sold in the US again or I should say Imported here.. You will have to buy one if available from abroad..
Here is a picture of the CFX Royal .22

Hope that answers your question..

Hey Gene, how do I go about buying from overseas? Is there a web site for a specific vendor you could point me to?  How about price, is it really high? Thanks for the info

Buying is easy Jerry

I found a good reputable place to buy my CFX Royal .22 from and emailed the sales department with my questions on shipping and pricing. They sent me out a estimated total cost invoice for me to over look. Everything was done through email and I was quite happy with this particular merchant..

This was over a year ago and I think it cost me a little over $400.00 US including everything. Even shipping..

Just remember that all springers follow the Fact law which is no more than 12 fpe.. They sent me a non fact spring packaged along with my CFX, at no additional charge..

Here is the site I bought from..

http://www.outdoorsman.co.uk/

They do not carry the Gamo Hunter 1250 .22 but I bet they can order one from factory for you.. I was gonna buy a BSA at one time from them which they did not stock and they said it would be no problem to purchase it through them at no additional charge...

Good Luck

Can't comment one way or the other on the Outdoorsman, but a company I can definitely recommend is:-
http://www.jsramsbottom.com/

Their prices are the best in the UK and their service is impeccable. Stocks are huge - no waiting for deliveries from factory or importer.
