Need help with a CFX.....
« on: November 24, 2009, 09:51:15 AM »
The front sight popped off when it got slapped by a branch. Anyone know the best way to get the muzzle break apart to put the sight back in. Thought I should ask before I go forcin' things. The sight has a protective shroud around it.
It seemed to pop out fairly easy, but it doesn't want to snap back in.......Thanks.............Raoul

There's one screw that will have to be removed on the top of the brake first. Now look under the front of the brake, there's a small pin that hold's the cap or front of the brake on, push that out and the brake should pull apart. Slide the sight back on and assemble. That's how I pulled mine off to put on a custom one, hope this help's some. :) Ed

Thanks, that should get me started in the right direction. I have the EVP, but it's difficult to see what needs to be removed. Thanks again. :emoticon:
