« on: March 23, 2007, 02:57:26 PM »
Was coming home from grandkids soccer game and was goin through town.  (600 pop) hehe.. Heard what sounded like two 38 cal pistola shots in the distance.. Got into middle of town and the police were out in numbers..:) (2) lol.. Someone had just hit a Deer in the road minutes before and the cops were there to clean up the fresh road kill. Guess they shot the poor guy with there revolvers..  Dang and they probably took him home and dressed him out....:(  I missed out again.. hehe

Hey Gene,

You should've stopped and asked them if you could have it. They just might have given it to ya.   I've had people come up to me many times after I had to put down a deer and most times I just tell em to take it.  Most of the guys who I work with do the same thing.  We get so many of them hit by cars that most times none of us need the venison so we just let whoever wants it take it.

The only exception is if the deer has a nice set of antlers,,,, I still let em take the deer, but they have to wait until I cut the antlers off for my collection.  I keep a hacksaw in the trunk at all times...  :)

Hi Guys,

They used to feed the prisoners at Graterford Prison road kills, SMART !

But some liberal lawyer felt that this was demeaning to the prisoners, so they stopped !

The prisoners were pritty upset because that wst the best meat that they received.... buy all too late, they were allready helped by there liberal friends .

So the moral of this is Gene, next time tell the policeman that the won't even allow prisoners to eat that road killed deer, then tell them how demeaning it would be for them to eat it !!! Then put it in the back, and drive off !

HAHA.......HA
