Im Not Busy At All,,,, Just Watching Tv,,,,, :(
« on: November 23, 2009, 01:54:43 PM »
NEVER IN MY LIFE have I been SO COMPLETLY INTENSLY invoved as I am now Folks. I am working day & night trying to start my new buisness & still trying to devote some time to customers stocks I have on hand. This is gonna take some time getting set up for sure. I have not even pulled a trigger in weeks now.Right now,,, I am devoting ALL my time towards developing my buisness so I can ultimatly provide quality stocks/grips ect to all my Friends. This dont happen overnight Folks,,, TRUST me!! I have had the honor of getting support not only financially,,, but advice from some of the most respected Folks in the aftermarket "Furnature" buisness as well!! What the heck,,,, It is no mystery that "Mr Bob" (CDT) believed in me enough to spring for several tools I needed. Not the least of wich was a pretty sizable investment in my new duplicator. I still need several relativly inexpensive tools before I begin "full production",,,,, hey man,,,, I "Run What I Brung"!! LOL!! Also,,, I have had quite a bit of corospondence with Steve Corcorain of "Woods & Water". Many of you here may have heard of him. You can see his gordious stocks @ Airguns Of Arizona. A few hours on the phone with Steve has certainly saved me ALOT of trial & error!!Not only does Steve produce exellent quality work at reasonable prices,,,,, he is a TRUE GENTLEMAN in all respects!! Ok,, Im Beat,,,, Dinner time!! Timbo.

Nice looking stocks! I wish you all the best! Stock making seems like a very hard thing to do, and doing it alone seems even harder! But you seem to have it down! Again, BEST OF LUCK!

Holy Cow, Timbo.  Did you put the screws on the wrong side of that last beautiful looking stock?!

I have been playing tonight, too.  New shooter -- the one in the middle is a CZ-452 Varmint in .22LR.  Did a YoDave trigger job - down to a crisp 1# pull, and mounted another of the Pentax Pioneer 4.5-14X 44 MM AO ballistic plex scopes.  I believe these to be a fine, fine, superfine .22LR scope.  With subsonic Wolf Match Target, zero at 50 yards and 2 mil hold over puts the Ruger on target at 100 yards.  Will have to see if that holds true for the CZ-452 as well.  Of course for the 17HMR, zero at 100 yards is maybe half an inch high at 50 yards if that.  Shoots flat as a flitter.  Good work, Tim.  Good night, sir.

You ever get off your butt and look at your classifed, LOL? I asked about your Benjamin rifle. Guess it's a 347 (had to look it up, myself.) Since you are reading here, is that tapped for a Williams peep on the right hand side, same as a 392? And how is the trigger?

I know first hand the work involved in cutting a full custom stock, and the fun that the figured woods create.
Keep on plodding, you are getting close.
Cheers, David.

It will all come together Timmy, you have the talent, and the passion, and like you said when you love what you do, its not work. P.S. I can't wait to have one of your custom stocks for my TF89, I know I have a long wait as I am way down the list, but it will be worth it,
Mike Melick tuned Bam B26,with  Leapers 4x16x40ao scope,Gene turbo tuned TF89 with Barska 3X12X40A0 scope and More powder burners than you can shake a stick at.                  Gun control is hitting what your aiming at
