Tune for a Gamo
« on: December 01, 2009, 02:49:44 AM »
Any suggestions on who or where to have a Gamo Whisper tuned ?  I have tried contacting by e-mail couple of shops as there web site say I need to do prior to shipping a rifle but I have not received any responses.... Thanks in advance for any info.

PS ... I'm looking to get the best tune I can....

Tim welcometo GTA Forums.
Was one of the email request sent to Gene of Gene's Tunez-N-Toyz? He's admin of this forum and has one of the BEST tune services available. I'm sure he will chime in after seeing your post. :)
Click on the MALL section above and look for Gene's ad, and other tune services available.
Again, Welcome and Happy Shooting!!!!

A lot of tuners are "above" tuning a Gamo, may be why you haven't gotten any responses.  I count Gene as a friend, so take this as you see fit, but I've heard that he can do incredible things with a springer.  Haven't actually had him tune a rifle for me since I don't do springers anymore, but he learned from one of the best, Charlie Da Tuna.  You can spend more, but I don't think you'll get more.  Later.

I can tell you first hand about Gene's tunes on a Gamo. Be sure to ask him to install a GRT III at the time.  He did a TurboTune on my Gamo Hunter Elite with a GRT III trigger. The difference is tremendous! I highly recommend Mr. Curtis's service. You may look longer for someone to tune your Gamo, but you won't find a more friendly, capable guy around. He's receiving another of my rifles to tune this week.

I can't speak about his tunes, since I haven't had him tune one yet, but the GRT III trigger is something you NEED for your Gamo. I got one for my Crosman G1 Extreme(Gamo clone) and it's a fantastic trigger.
