lost favorite pen
« on: December 02, 2009, 12:17:45 PM »
Hey guys, I lost my favorite pen, it is a Papermate Silhouette Champagne and Gold Ballpoint Pen. I am looking for the one that looks like this https://www.montgomerypens.com/product_detail.asp?product_id=5492 . I know they make one that is similar but the balance is not the same. Check your pen mug/drawers, etc. No I am not looking for 25 dollars, I can pay 5 or 6,  Thanks, John

Here you go:

I remember losing a Pelican fountain pen, many years ago. Was one of my favorites. Bought a Senator to replace it, but it was never the same. Good luck!

GOSH John,

With the review that you gave on the Papermate Silhouette Champagne and Gold Pen Set, and the availability on eBay, I just might try a set out, and you should buy several sets, just to make sure you always have them near !!!!

Bill:

If you really like fountain pens (I do), then check out the Pilot Vanishing Point retractable.  I suggest the fine point.  I have more than a few nice pens, but this is my every day carry pen and, my all time favorite fountain pen, Pellican, Mont Blanc, and  Parker included.

Thanks, I found the pen. The ebay one is the new one. I like the old one. With the little fancy plastic boot on the push button. The set is 50.00. They used to be a wally world 6.00 pen. I did find that several refills will fit a G2 or parker, so may just try that, John
